Victims of Racism: A New Age

Two African American Middle school students in Wyoming were subject to racism within their school from other students. One of the students sprayed with bleach due to the color of his skin and the other told to sit at the back of the bus in February from other classmates due to the “Rosa Parks Laws”. This is not acceptable. Our goal as a nation should be to allow our youth to have a safe academic setting to learn without having to deal the struggles that we deal with on the daily. Our youth are the future and if they are treating each other with hate at this age and not with love, we have failed as a nation to train up the future. Racism is not an aspect of human development that grows by nature but a man-made cancer that is taught; most people ignore the diagnosis, and this is what halts our progression as a society. Once we determine where the origin of the nation’s sickness, then we can make the change and better yet BE the change.
